Cape Santa Maria on Long Island, Bahamas caters to couples on romantic getaways, honeymooners or families, looking for a chance to spend time together in a remote, quiet resort either in one of the beach-front bungalows or luxury villas. Cape Santa Maria prides itself on being small enough to extend personal services to all of its guests, while at the same time, offering the amenities and activities you’d expect at a large resort.
Cape Santa Maria offers 20 beach front bungalow and 16 luxury villas. The 10, one-bedroom bungalows have two queen beds, while the villas and two-bedroom bungalows include two twin beds. All bungalows and villas have a separate washroom and separate bath area. The villas are 1,800 square feet, with 11-foot ceilings, jetted tubs, flat screens, plus two full baths, a kitchen, living room, dining room and a laundry room. A private patio walks out onto the beach, and all villas have high-speed Internet access. The villas include many modern amenities.
Bahamian and American cuisine are served at the Cape Santa Maria restaurant, where you can dine overlooking the ocean. There’s also a lounge/bar area and a beach-front patio, a prime spot to enjoy sunsets.
Cape Santa Maria also has a gift shop, laundry facilities, gym, Library, Bicycles, TV and entertainment room as well as wireless Internet service throughout the resort. Guests can relax under the private gazebos scattered along the four-mile private beach and the protected bay offers a safe area—with no undertow—for walking and playing. Guests also may select from spa services, including massage. Babysitting is available, too.
And for those looking to tie the knot with a beach wedding, Cape Santa Maria offers full-service wedding and honeymoon packages.
