Bimini HD Video
This video tour of Bimini shows why this tiny Bahamian island has become such a hot spot for boaters, anglers and vacationers looking for an easy get away just 50 miles from the coast of Miami, Florida.
Your hosts for this Bimini tour, Kevin and Jennifer, experience what Bimini and the REAL Bahamas is all about. From fishing and snorkeling the gin clear waters; to duty-free shopping and relaxing by the pool, they soon find out that Bimini offers the complete Bahamas vacation package.
Anxious to reel in a big catch in "The Big Game Capital of the World", Jennifer and Kevin cast off with expert fishing guide and lifelong Bimini resident, Captain Ebbie David. Within five minutes Ebby hooks a beautiful barracuda, inspiring the angler within Kevin.
Then, its off to an afternoon of snorkeling. Captain Ebbie shows off two of Bimini’s favorite snorkeling and diving spots: “Bimini Road”, believed by some to be a man-made road to the fabled city of Atlantis, and the Sapona, a WWI era half-submerged ship made from concrete and steel.
After a day on the beautiful waters of Bimini, hosts Kevin and Jennifer take it easy at the resort pool and indulge in a little “me time” at the pool-side spa and shopping at Fisherman’s Village.
No trip to Bimini is complete without a tour of the Dolphin House museum in Alice Town. Proprietor and sustainable living pioneer, Ashley Saunders shows off his living museum made from scrap and natural materials found in and around Bimini. The experiences one can have at this Bahamian Out Island go way beyond the wonderful resorts and marinas of Bimini. When you get off the beaten path, it becomes abundantly clear that the wonderful people, extraordinary wildlife and naturally beautiful beaches of tiny Bimini are what make it a huge part of the REAL Bahamas.

From surfing the hot waves at Surfer's Beach, to tasting the local delicacy of conch salad, and soaking their cares away at Queens Bath, Kevin and Jennifer experience it all for the first time.
One of their first stops is Harbour Island to see one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Harbour Island is famous for its Pink Sand Beach, attracting writers, artists, super models and the Hollywood jet set crowd.
In Gregory Town, your hosts indulge their adventurous sides. With the help of a surfing instructor and the local “hang ten” set, Jennifer braves the waves at Surfer's Beach. Secluded villas, upscale resorts, and quaint inns keep visitors coming back year after year. However, your hosts venture outside their luxurious resort to discover that it’s the wonderful and passionate people of Eleuthera that really make lasting fond memories.
In the Out Islands, you hear about “Island Time”. It’s where time seems to stand still, allowing you to take a good look around and just soak it all in. One of the most the stunning natural landmarks in Eleuthera is Queen’s Bath. Its warm natural tide pools beckon your hosts like a day at the spa.
At first, discovering Eleuthera was like finding the land that time forgot. But by the end of their trip, they discovered it was more like finding the land that made them forget about time. What this video of Eleuthera really reveals is that in addition to all of the exciting things to do in Eleuthera, it’s really about just chilling, getting lost and then, somehow, finding yourself.
