South Andros Island welcomes visitors to The Bahamas Out Islands to come enjoy this annual cultural celebration. South Andros is known for its lush coconut trees and a variety of delicious fresh coconut dishes are prepared for all to enjoy. In addition to to treats for the palat, the South Andors Coconut Festival is a treat for the eyes and all the senses. Local Androsian artists and craftsmen exhibit creations made from coconut husk and shells, and as with all Bahamian celebrations, vacationers will enjoy the sights and sounds of authentic Bahamian music.
The Annual South Andros Coconut Festival runs from July 9 through July 12, 2008. Pleasant Bay is 24 miles south of Congotown on South Andros Island.

New U.S. Passport Regulations
