Four Seasons Resort Great Exuma offers 140 guest rooms, 43 suites and 18 multi-bedroom residences for romantic getaways and active vacations. With meeting space that is ideal for high-level business meetings as well as functions of up to 400 people, the Resort sets exciting new standards for exclusive gatherings.

Generously proportioned Garden View, Partial Ocean View, Ocean View and Beachfront rooms are dotted throughout the Resort and in cottage clusters around Emerald Bay. The 140 Standard guest rooms all feature one king-size bed or two double beds and a variety of garden, ocean and beachfront views. Welcoming, with Bahamian Colonial touches of colorful rugs and artwork, guest rooms start at a generous 475 sq. ft. (44 m2). Each has an entertainment armoire with television and DVD/CD player.

The Beach Cay package:

WEDDING DETAILS

From invitations to wedding cakes, floral creations to memorable farewells, trust Four Seasons to simplify your planning and make your wedding day everything you have ever imagined.

• Wedding specialist -- A Four Seasons on-site expert will work with you or your wedding consultant to reserve your dates, plan the schedule of events, and coordinate all food and beverage details, from menu design to linens, as well as assist with other aspects of your wedding experience at the Resort.
• License for ceremony -- A 24-hour residency period is required before the bride and groom can apply for their marriage license, and if you are planning to marry on a Saturday or Sunday, you should arrive by Thursday. Documents required by the Bahamian government are photo ID such as a driver's license; certified copies of birth certificates or valid passports; and, if previously married, a certified copy of the divorce decree or death certificate (if widowed). A blood test is not required.
• Flowers -- Four Seasons will be pleased to assist you or to make arrangements with our preferred floral designers, or the florist of your choice. We can also create themes and matching décor for your event setting.
• Photography and entertainment-- Four Seasons wedding planners will coordinate the music and entertainment, photography, videography and even fireworks to celebrate your marriage.
• Public area available for pictures -- There are numerous picturesque locations for wedding photography, including the beach, the lush tropical gardens and the golf course by the water's edge.
• Cakes -- Talented in-house Pastry Chefs can create a beautiful customized wedding cake in the flavor of your preference. If you have a photograph of a special cake, we will be happy to prepare that cake for you.
• Menu creations -- Four Seasons prides itself on culinary creativity, and offers an extensive array of menus to choose from. Or, we can completely custom-design a menu for you, along with your choice of beverages. Whatever the wedding event, from an intimate family brunch to a sophisticated cocktail buffet to a grand reception banquet, our team will assist you or your bridal consultant from planning to execution.
• Linens and tabletop décor -- Four Seasons offers a basic level of superior linens, cutlery, china and glassware for all banquet tables. Special colors, patterns or designs may be obtained for a nominal rental fee.
• Transportation -- At your request, Four Seasons can arrange local transportation for you or your visiting guests.
• Salon, spa and beauty services -- A wedding can be a stressful time. While you are guests of Four Seasons, you are invited to make use of our on-site fitness facilities, with our compliments. You may also wish to book a restful massage or rejuvenating spa treatment. To assist with hair and make-up, a salon is conveniently located on premises.
• Preferred vendors and service coordination -- At your request, we can provide a list of recommended vendors for all your wedding needs, from photographers to entertainment.

• Castaway for a day - In this romantic getaway for two, a guide picks you up at the Resort and transports you by boat to a secluded beach on an uninhabited island. There, your own tropical paradise will be set up, including a beach umbrella, two lounge chairs, beach mats and a cooler containing a gourmet picnic lunch, rum and drinks. Snorkel gear, a radio or cell phone and a 27-exposure disposable underwater camera are provided, and upon request the Resort will also provide you with a fish and reef chart. The food and small gear are packed in a keepsake straw beach bag from the Exuma Straw Market. The guide will instruct you on the use of the snorkel gear, show you the best snorkeling locales and take several photos of you before leaving you to yourselves. At an agreed-upon time, the boat will return to pick you up.
