When you vacation at Abaco Club on Winding Bay, you’ll have an array of activities to choose from to match your interests. Fish, sail or go boating, take out a glass-bottom kayak, learn how to launch a Hobie Cat, play tennis, relax at the spa, and of course, play on a one-of-a-kind golf course overlooking the Abaco Sea.

The Abaco Club is a destination for boaters and fishing enthusiasts. The flats, reefs and deep waters that surround Abaco Island present a dazzling variety of fish, from prized big-game fish to schools of bonefish. You’ll find an abundance of fresh tuna, dolphin, wahoo, blue marlin and more.

The Out Islands of The Bahamas offers the best bonefishing in the world, and if that’s your sport, you’ll want to explore the renowned Abaco Marls, which offers some of the best bonefish habitats in the tropics. Experienced guides will lead you out in shallow draft boats from the Abaco Club’s bone-fishing hut.

The private golf course at the Abaco Club is the debut of the world’s first Scottish-style links course in a tropical location. Designed by Donald Steel and Tom Mackenzie, the greens offer an elegant and thrilling retreat. The Abaco Club attracts golf enthusiast and professionals alike. The par 72 championship layout blends into the natural surroundings.

A variety of boating activities provides a perfect idyllic escape. Sail the remote waters teeming with sea life, and snorkel around tiny palm-fringed island cays. Take an island hopping adventure to visit villages of neighboring cays and discover dive sites. The Abaco Club offers day-long, half-day and champagne sunset cruises daily.

Indulge yourself with a Japanese facial, a strawberry herbal back cleanse or an aroma ocean wrap. It’s among the signature treatments you’ll get at the Spa Fitness Center, a European-style spa that features a comprehensive collection of signature products and treatments. You also have access to the state-of-the-art fitness studio with views of the beach and Winding Bay.

Walk, trot or gallop along more than five miles of trails on a highly trained, gentle Texas Quarter horse. Ride through palm-fringed trails or beside the dazzling seashore.

Whether you like to play for fun, or want to improve your game, the Abaco Club has all-weather tennis courts for players of all levels. All Abaco Club guests have access to professional instruction.

The Abaco Club has an extensive Children’s Club, where kids can play and learn. Family-oriented educational activities are offered year-round. You can enjoy educational activities as a family, or the children can stay and play the day away. Activities include astronomy, beach and water sports, golf, equestrian, tennis, bonefishing, kite making and flying, billiards, sailing, nature, snorkeling and sand castle technique.
