February Point Resort

February Point Resort Estates is located just ¼ mile from the conveniences and friendly diversions of George Town, Exuma’s capital. February Point Resort offers the finest in accommodations in our own unique recipe of laid back and un-pretentions barefoot elegance. Stretching across a beautiful 80-acre private peninsula of varied elevations overlooking the spectacular Bahamian blue waters of famous Elizabeth Harbour, February Point offers guests a world of their own.

Whether your love is sailing the warm seas, world-class fishing, ecological hiking, watersports, or just paddling your feet in the soothing, calm sea at the end of your own private pier, February Point has something for everyone. With 365 islands making up the Exumas, there is literally one island to explore for every day of the year, which are accessible by boat from February Point. Countless thousands of secluded coves, quiet inlets, sandy paths, deserted beaches, and natural flora and fauna await you.

With all the amenities of a resort, February Point offers a welcome escape from the hectic pace of everyday life, while offering all the modern conveniences of home. Wander out the French doors of your master bedroom to enjoy luxurious privacy on your verandah overlooking emerald seas, or take a cruise around February Point in your golf cart to meet up with other guests and exclusive neighbors who will soon become friends.

February Point is just a 15 minute drive along the ocean from the Exuma International Airport but far enough away that our guests can enjoy the priceless luxury of peace and quiet, because the daily flights to and from Nassau and the United States do not fly over the skies of February Point.

February Point is amid 80 lushly landscaped acres of prime Bahamas real estate. Situated on a private peninsula with varying elevations overlooking Exuma’s many cays, coves, and virgin beaches. Strict environmentally protective legislation guarantees that the Exumas will remain pure and unspoiled in the future. The Bahamian Government, the people of Exuma, and the developers of February Point are dedicated to protecting the beauty and peace that makes this secluded paradise unique.
One of the most unique attributes of February Point is its location amid dozens of uninhabited cays and islands. The calm and sheltered waters are ideal for families of all ages.

Venture across Elizabeth Harbour in our February Point sea kayaks for a calm 15 minute paddle to Stocking Island, a wonderful place to hike, play volleyball, snorkel or comb the white beaches for sand dollars at low tide. Stop at the Chat n Chill for a conch salad and a cold Kalik – the national Bahamian beer – while chatting with some of the visiting yachtsmen anchored in the bay, whose international flags share the ceiling with pirate flags and other fun memorabilia.

The largest of the 365 mostly uninhabitad islands of the 120 mile Exuma archipelago, Great Exuma stretches lazily across the Tropic of Cancer about 300 miles off the South Florida coast, and 130 miles Southeast of Nassau. One visitor over a century ago was so moved by the idyllic climate and beauty, that he called Exuma “The isles of perpetual June”. While the rest of the northern hemisphere suffers under a blanket of cold and darkness, when the Mediterranean is bleak and even Miami is chilly, the Exumas are magnificently tropical, with average daily temperatures of 78 degrees.

Enjoy the most spectacular boating potential in The Bahamas with literally dozens of islands within a few short miles of February Point. You can charter a boat or rent your own to explore the many cays, coves, and virgin beaches of Great Exuma.

Enjoy our marina front restaurant and it’s barefoot elegance. Dine under the stars overlooking Crab Cay and Flamingo Cove.

Dazzle in the fishing and snorkeling around February Point. We can arrange for deep sea, reef, or bonefishing at any time.

We look forward to welcoming you!
