Sunday Funday in Guana Cay
May 08, 2018
Guana Cay is the place to be every Sunday!
The beaches of Guana Cay are famous for their wild beach bars, big crowds, and unbelievably blue waters. Every Sunday there is a mass exodus on the surrounding cays as locals and tourists alike head north to Great Guana Cay.
Start the day off at Grabber Bed, Bar & Grill, which is literally on the beach! This is more than just a bar and grill; it is the ultimate hangout, featuring a pool, hammocks, corn hole boards, jet ski rentals, and endless games and activities. Grabber’s is a great spot to hang and have fun in a family-friendly party atmosphere.
Not only is Grabber’s fun, but the food is fresh and delicious. The fresh Conch Salad Bar offers freshly prepared conch salad scooped up just steps away from the ocean.
After you’ve filled your belly with conch, make sure to leave room for Nipper’s Beach Bar & Grill’s Sunday Pig Roast. Wash down the delicious, melt-in-your-mouth meal with a frozen “Nipper” drink, and a few local Kalik beers.
Once you're done at the all-you-can-eat buffet, check out the gift shop and in-house humidor, featuring cigars from all over the world, including Bahamian made Graycliff Cigars.
You never know who you will spot on the crowded dance floor. People watching is one of the best things about this bar!
